Circling for parking is around 30% of city driving

SF delivers parking meters with ‘demand-responsive pricing’

SF smart parking meters

Variable parking costs

San Francisco has been making parking “smarter” for a while now, and it’s just recently taken another step in that direction. By replacing over 5,000 parking meters with snazzy new models. Those will not only let you pay with a credit/debit card but adjust parking rates based on demand, which means you could pay from $0.25 to $6.00 an hour depending on demand. The rates are determined with the aid of sensors that keep track of parking spaces, which also means you’ll be able to find free spaces in an area on your phone or your computer.

SUZUKI NUDA the original Tron bike

Tron Bike by Suzuki

Few 20-year-old concept studies, still looks fresh today. The Nuda was reputedly operational and rideable, propelled by the DOHC in-line four GSX-R750 engine; it had two-wheel-drive, with power transmitted via shaft drives, and the front wheel was hub-steered in the Bimota fashion.

In review

So, the point of this post is to document Apple’s improved, accelerated app approval process.

I submitted a new app “Gridiron Bingo” to Apple late on Jan 29 (Thursday) and as of Tuesday morning it’s moved, from waitng to the new stage “in review”. Not sure how much time it will take to be approved but I will post it when it happens.
